Major Project: Meeting with Simon - New Project

After me and Sei-Kai decided to work on different projects in the new year. I had a meeting with Simon to discuss possible ideas.

I originally still wanted to make a short film, roughly 10-15 minutes long (As I had shorter time to prep, film and edit).

I discussed with Simon possible ideas, on different story ideas. Within a few weeks I decided to stick to the horror/supernatural genre that I have done in previous projects and create a ghost investigation short film with a twist.

Unfortunately as pre-production went on I was struggling to find locations to film for this particular subject, as most locations that had originally agreed weren't cooperating. I was also struggling to get actors on board that would be free in short notice as well as not be paid.

In the end I decided to go towards a different route and write a feature length script. I felt that even though I would only get a couple of months to write and develop a script, it would be better as I would be working on my own and would't have to rely on other people.

It has been a challenge to produce a major project in my final year, however I feel pretty confident that I will still be able to produce a good story and script for my deadline.
