Our group was a bit 50/50 with the idea, I didn't mind not using the green screen as I hadn't had much experience with it, and knowing how long it takes to set up, etc, it might be easier just to have some decoration in the background, especially if we was planning to create that cosy feel to our news anchor pieces.
As we hadn't decided what to do our group asked Fergus if he could give us a small lesson with the green screen after our workshop that day, however by the time we finished our lesson, Fergus had to go.
As we have only a couple of days til we film with our news anchor we decided to not use the green screen for our shoot on Monday. Not only do we have much experience with it, if we didn't do it right while our news anchor was there, we would then have to call him in again.
All we have to do now is get our logo printed on a pillow and mug by Monday as well as figure out what were going to have in the background, i.e. either a notice board or a poster.
