Meeting with Knitting for Charity Group

We was able to have to meet up with the knitting group to get some more information on what they do as well as the charity they are supporting at the moment.

For this meeting I  took out a DSLR camera and zoom kit, so that we could get some test shots on location (as we will be using this location for our news piece).

Here are some photos of the area the group stay in, in the library.

We arrived at the library an hour early, however we used this time to sit down in a cafe and make sure we had all the questions we needed to ask as well as what we would have to look for in the library, i.e. where the sockets are, the lighting, etc.

All the women were very welcoming and very chatty, we was able to get our questions answered as well as free tea and biscuits. We first gave out introduction to them, explaining who we are, and how and why we wanted to use this charity group as a story. We then chatted to the women asking them questions about the charity as well as the group they are in.

Here my meeting notes:

Overall I think we was able to get a lot of information from the women. Hopefully we have enough information to use for our script.
