Preparation for Interview with Michael Baldwin

Michael Baldwin is the head chairman for the 'Friends of Milton Regis'. For this interview we wanted to film him inside the Milton Regis Court Hall as it would be relevant to the story. As Sei-Kai is not going to be able to make the shoot on Monday, me, Illy and Tim decided to get together and see how we was going to frame and light the interview.

We decided to get Fergus to help us with how to light the interview.
1. The museum is poorly lit due to having small windows and little lights.
2. Because its a very old if we used lighting such as tungsten, the building wouldn't be able to support that much power.

Here is a diagram of how were going to frame Michael for the interview:

The diagram on the left is a map of the top floor of the building, where we are hoping to interview Michael. The smaller diagram on the right is how we want to frame Michael for the interview.

Fergus said to us that we could use a soft box and pag light for the interview, as they have less wattage than the tungsten lights; he also said that by using a soft box and pag light, it would give much softer look.

After speaking to Fergus, me, Illy and Tim decided that we would test out the lighting a couple of days before our shoot.

When it came to the day of testing the lighting, Sei-Kai and Illy didn't turn up and I had to leave early for a hospital appointment; so we weren't able to test the lighting out.

We have decided that we are going to use the soft box and pag light for the interview, and because we have an extra hour before filming the interview, we have decided to use this extra time to set up the lighting and equipment.
