Helen was very worried at the stage we was at because we should have got some filming done by now, due to getting two stories so early on in the project.
We explained to her the reasons why, 1. during doing this project I had a week of absence due to being in Italy, also I didn't forward contact information to Illy so that she could contact the news stories for information. 2. after having auditions for news reporters, we had to wait for a time that they were free, before setting a filming date with our news stories.
During this meeting we were able to show Helen a schedule of when we will be filming. We discussed with her that we would be filming during the next couple of weeks and will be getting this project done asap, so that we could focus on our other individual projects, that we pushed aside.
Helen gave us a tip that because we are at a crucial stage that to have dates on when you want to get filming done and start editing.
After our meeting we have set that we would film up until 23rd November (taking into consideration that we will film the very last piece of our museum package on 5th December due to going to an event; this footage will be dropped in during editing) and that we would start editing by 24th November.
This meeting was definitely needed for our group, as timing was something I was worried about at the beginning of this project. We seemed to have slowed down and we really needed to get back on track with this project. I really hope that our filming days go to plan and that we will hopefully get everything filmed asap.
